WHO IS THE KREWE OF PANDORA???

The Krewe of Pandora was formed in May 1999 to provide a setting for women to socialize, network, mentor young women and provide charitable services to the community through fundraising and volunteerism. The membership of the Krewe of Pandora represents women from very diverse backgrounds, professions and age groups in the Tampa, Florida area.
Our charitable endeavors include collecting funds, donating needed resources and volunteer efforts for various charitable organizations at our monthly meetings. Some of the organizations that have received financial and/or volunteer support include: The Humane Society of Tampa Bay, Toys for Tots, Dress for Success, The Children's Home, The Spring, The Child Abuse Council, The Francis House, Tampa General Hospital Children's Center, The Ronald Mac Donald House and individuals in need in the community. |

Our motto is "Making Hope a Reality". Pandora was chosen as our symbol because we feel she signifies hope and womanhood. (Plus it's a lot of fun being a Goddess!) Our costumes are inspired by the Goddesses of ancient time. |
Krewe of Pandora participates in the Gasparilla Children’s Parade, Gasparilla Day Parade, Knights of Sant’ Yago Illuminated Night Parade, Rough Riders’ St. Patricks Day parade, Springtime Tallahassee parade, Chasco parade and Hernando Desoto Heritage parade. We have also attended Mardi Gras in Mobile and the Billy Bowlegs Festival in Fort Walton Beach.
KREWE YEAR: May 1, 2008 thru April 30, 2009
DUES: $25.00 application fee (non-refundable)
$75.00 Initiation fee
$325.00 Annual Dues
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT:
New Member Participation Requirements:
1. Must be female and over the age of 21 years
2. Must attend four (4) events from May 1st through December 31st of the Krewe year. This can consist of four (4) general monthly meetings or two (2) General monthly Krewe meeting and two (2) Board of Directors’ approved socials.
General monthly meetings are always held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at Tampa Brewing Company in Ybor City at 6:30 p.m..
3. The required meetings are from May 1st through December 31st of that Krewe year. Regardless of the date you joined.
4. Members must attend January’s Mandatory Meeting. This meeting is not included in the basic requirements.
5. Charity requirements are a minimum of four (4) charities from May 1st through December 31st of the Krewe year.
6. Must join a Committee and meet the committee’s requirements
7. All Fees/Dues must be paid in full by June 30, 2009 and are non-refundable.
